If you spend a lot of time in your home office because you work from home then you understand the importance of setting up you workspace to get the most from the time you pass there.
For me the biggest problem working from home brings is the fact that there always seems to be distractions on hand to take my mind away from the work I should be completing. With family life continuing all around as I try to concentrate I find my mind starting to wander on an all to consistent basis.
To enable me to get more work done quicker I have tried to build an environment more conducive to work which will not allow me to consider what is going on in the outside world. I do this by setting myself certain rules which I follow religiously and also by building an office environment which makes concentration all the more easy.
When I'm comfortable in my workspace I find that work becomes easy and I almost forget about everything else in my life.
If you work from home also, I suggest you too take a formulaic approach to creating a work office environment which enable you to buckle down and get everything done without taking unnecessary breaks throughout the day.
